This ryotei was founded in 1932. The second-generation owner-chef works in the kitchen with his son; the proprietress, his daughter, waits on the customers. Built in 1912, the building is traditional in style; relax in a private room while gazing out at the garden. The food is served on Kyoto ware and lightly seasoned, reflecting the influence of Kansai cuisine on the founder. From autumn to spring, the speciality is wild-caught tora fugu cuisine.
